To be part of various test activities across test lifecycle on mobile banking program releases. Implement industry best practises and test methodologies.
Key duties include the working with test lead/manager for planning and execution of testing activities and resources across various test stages of the Mobile delivery lifecycle. Ability to coordinate with teams, multi-task, work collaboratively with all key test and other engineering leads in the delivery process. The ability to work autonomously, assertively dynamically and pro-actively to identify issues related quality, requirements and test execution progress.
Plans, organises, work collaboratively in order to deliver required quality apps within agreed timescales.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a track-record of working with highly effective test teams & being effective team player.
Enable, participate and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Test community of the Mobile platform.
Will be required to implement the quality processes and gates to deliver high quality testing output.
Ideally would have experience in agile testing environment and teams with exposure to one or more of the tool sets and approaches; such as Appium, Cucumber JVM and JIRA, Zephyr, soapUI etc.
Has a thorough understanding of state-of-the-art testing approaches for an agile development as well as cloud based environment.
Must have an excellent understanding of Mobile technologies and best practices for testing complex mobile apps and enterprise level mobile payments platform.
Key Role Deliverables: Criteria/results by which success can be measured
Test Planning, Analysis & Management
- Create / Update test artefacts such as Test scenarios, cases, exploratory tests and test completion reports
- Participate in agile/BDD planning sessions to review requirements, product/sprint backlogs
- Conduct system, integration , device coverage and/or regression testing on various mobile platform applications
- Liaise with product owners, scrum masters for defining user stories, acceptance scenarios
- Identify test data and environment set up requirement and liaise with relevant teams for it’s availability during testing.
Test execution , Controlling & Governance
- Work with test engineers for test execution, defect identification and logging
- Liaise with relevant project team members for defect resolutions, closure in accordance with defect management process.
- Generate relevant test progress report and inform testing
- Able to utilise available automated test suite for test execution.
